6. Adjusting and programming HELIOS
Before adjusting the driving characteristics for your locomotives
(→ sections 6.2. to 6.5.), a trial operation with the factory (default)
settings is recommended. This allows you to check, if all dividing points
and connections have been made correctly.
6.1. Determining the version
By inserting jumpers you determine

if the shuttle line has intermediate stops or not,

how many locomotives are run on the shuttle line,

from which tracks of the terminus stations the locomotives start.
Version 1:
max. 1 locomotive
Settings Effects
5 inserted no intermediate stop
1 inserted
Starting track: 1
2 3 and 4 open
Operation:
Locomotive 1 shuttles between the two
terminus stations.
