LEFT AND RIGHT HAND

viewed looking towards the rear of the tractor.
IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS

part index.

APPLICATION OF BOCIAN 170 AND 225 SWATHER
The BOCIAN 170 and 225 machines are designed for the conditioning and tedding of swaths of cut
grass, straw, mowed low-stem plants and to rake dried and dried hay and straw. Works great when
preparing green masses for baling silage, for harvesting by self-propelled forage harvesters or self-
harvesting trailers.
The Bocian is a high-speed swath rake designed for work where grass and straw must be properly
aerated to become full-fledged food for farm animals.
Working with the machine promotes quick drying, reduction of pollution, swath leveling
and less workload.
After drying, aeration and breaking the swath, the Bocian leaves it in even shafts, the width of which
can be adjusted by setting the rear outlet flaps. This allows the shaft width to be adapted to the
width of the machine that participates in the next stage: a press, a forage harvester or a self-loading
wagon.
PREPARATION OF THE TRACTOR
The tractor must be of sufficient power and have an adequate front-end ballast to operate
the machine safely.
Three-point linkage for equipment suspension is required, as well as stabilisers and
adjustable safety chains must be fitted.
The machine is designed to use the
standard 540 rpm PTO shaft.
PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE
Grease the machine and check the gearbox lubricant level according to the ‘Maintentance’
section.
Check the belt tension and adjust if necessary, again referring to the ‘Maintanenance’
section.
