Membership Rules
There are several rules which govern the make-up of
scan groups.
When modifying the settings a prompt message will be
displayed if an action is not permitted.
Message Rule Meaning/Action
CANNOT
DELETE
A scan group must
have a minimum of
two channels.
No more channels
can be deleted,
without first adding
another channel.
GROUP FULL
A scan group can
have up to 16
channels.
No more channels
can be added,
without first deleting
an existing channel.
CANNOT
CHANGE
Priority groups must
have a P1 channel
assigned. Dual
priority groups must
have a P1 and P2
channel assigned.
Changing the value
of a P1 or P2 channel
is not permitted. To
assign a new priority
channel, scroll to the
desired channel and
set its value as P1 or
P2. The previous P1
or P2 channel will
revert to the value Y.
CANNOT
CHANGE
A group that has a
default transmit
channel assigned
must have one
channel set to T.
Changing the value
of the default
transmit channel is
not permitted. To
assign a new default
transmit channel,
scroll to the desired
channel and set its
value to T. The
previous default
transmit channel will
revert to the value Y.
