Recharging a new battery

After installing a new battery, use the AC adapter to
recharge the battery. It takes about 2.5 hours to recharge
a new battery when the COMET is turned off.

Removing the battery

1.

Shut down the COMET according to the instructions in
“Shutting COMET down” on page 28.

2.

Turn the COMET over.

3.

To remove the battery, perform the following three steps:
a) slide the battery lock button to the right
b) press the battery latch button to the left
c) grasp the edge of the battery and gently pull it out of

the battery bay
