Rescue Update Procedure
If the phone software has been corrupted, the phone can be updated with a
manufacturer-supplied version using the following procedure:
To perform the Rescue Update procedure:

Disconnect the power from the phone and reconnect it while clicking the first
softkey on the left; the following message is displayed:

Temporarily assign the following network parameters to your workstation:

IP address - 192.168.1.11
 Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

Verify that Windows Explorer is configured to display file extensions for
known file types.
If Windows Explorer is not configured to display the extensions for known file
types, the software file will not be recognized by the TFTP server.

Upload the software file (provided by the manufacturer) onto the TFTP server.
Verify that the filename is <app.bin.gz>. If necessary, rename the file to
app.bin.gz.

Click OK on the phone; the following is displayed:
After the software has been loaded onto the phone, the following is displayed:
