2. CHANGING THE SAW BLADE (SEE FIG 1-L5)
1) Disconnect the saw from the power supply
2) Remove the linkage screw with a screwdriver.
3) Press the blade spindle lock (21) and rotate the blade until it is locked, then rotate clockwise to loosen
and remove the blade securing bolt

the outer flange with the hex key.
NOTE: Blade securing bolt has a left hand thread.

Remove the blade, (we recommend the use of a stout glove for this). Clean any saw dust and debris
from the arbor and saw blade securing flanges.
5)To refit the blade, follow the above procedure in reverse order.
CAUTION: ALWAYS install the blade with the blade teeth and the arrow printed on the side of the blade
pointing down at the front of the saw. The direction of blade rotation is also stamped with an arrow on the
upper blade guard.
