If everything has proceeded correctly, you will be requested to switch off the machine
and switch it back on again.
•
The machine will now start with the new software.
•
Set the switch inside the machine to ON , this will take you to Test Mode.
•
Recalibrate the touch screen (see Taking into use).
•
Make any other required settings in Test Mode (only if required).
•
Set the Test Mode switch to OFF .
•
The machine will automatically restart
The following must be observed when updating MP3 files only:
The new titles are transferred by a removable hard disk to the installed hard disk. The
removable hard disk must possess Win 98’s DOS or higher. Also the MP3 files must exist
on this removable hard disk with the music and if possible a corresponding jpg file with the
record cover.
The simplest way to create these is to convert music titles on a CD to MP3 and to scan the
record cover. You will need a PC with Windows, the Mpeg DJ Encoder software and a
scanner. You may procure the software from TAB Austria. The PC must be equipped with a
corresponding cartridge for the removable disk and a scanner.
You may also order the entire package from TAB. You may select titles at TAB’s homepage
in the OTM (see Page 25)!
Should you have installed a removable disk cartridge connection on your PC, you may
update your update disk to the latest version using the Support/Update Disk download
option in your OTM account.
