MEMO-Program
A MEMO program (playback program) can be created for
the CD in the disc drawer, e.g. if you wish to assemble
certain tracks in a non-standard order for recording onto
cassette. Once you have created a MEMO program, only
the programmed tracks will be played back, using the
sequence you have defined.
A MEMO program can store up to 40 tracks of a CD in
any order you like. The program is stored until such time
as you erase it, open the CD drawer again, or switch the
machine off.
The following buttons are used to control the process:

Remote control handset
Creating a MEMO program:
Insert CD.
•
Activate MEMO programming: hold the
/
button pressed in for about 2 seconds.
The screen shows:

and a flashing number; this
is your cue to enter the information.
•
Select the track you wish to play using the
/
buttons, or enter the track number directly from
the remote control using the numeric buttons.
•
Store the track in the MEMO program by pressing the
/
button briefly.
The display message
'
PROG
PROG
PROG
PROG
'
flashes once to confirm
that this track has now been accepted as the first track
in the MEMO program. Select the remaining tracks in
the same manner, storing them each time by pressing
the
/
button briefly.
When you have stored all the tracks you wish to
include
in
the
MEMO
program,
the
MEMO
programming process is completed.
•
End MEMO programming: hold the
/
button pressed in for about 2 seconds.
The screen shows the message:
'
STORED
STORED
STORED
STORED
'
and then
displays all the track numbers of the MEMO program
you have just created in the sequence stored.
The MEMO program can now be played back.
Note:
When you have stored the 40th track, the screen
displays the message:
'
FULL
FULL
FULL
FULL
'
. The program is then stored
automatically, and the MEMO programming process
ends.
During the programming process the total duration of the
tracks already stored (program length) is displayed at top
left on the integral system screen.
Playing back a MEMO program:
•
Start the playback process:
/
button.
Playback starts with the first track of the MEMO program.
When you are running a MEMO program the display
shows a
'
P
P

'
in front of the current track number.
The buttons
or
/
select the
previous / next track within the MEMO program only.
If you use the fast forward / rewind buttons to select a
track outside the MEMO program, then this track will be
played right through, but afterwards the MEMO program
will resume.
Erasing a MEMO program:
Briefly pressing the
/
button when the
player is in
STOP
mode opens the CD tray. This action
erases the MEMO program.
A MEMO program can also be erased without opening
the CD tray:
•
Activate MEMO programming: hold the
/
button pressed in for about 2 seconds.
The screen shows:

'
, and a flashing number to
invite you to enter information.
•
Erase the MEMO program: hold the
/
button pressed in again for about 2 seconds.
The display shows the message:

CLEAR
CLEAR
CLEAR
CLEAR
'
. The MEMO
program is now erased.
