PHYSICAL CONNECTIONS
Analogue Audio
The audio interface presents balanced stereo XLR
inputs and outputs. The electrical characteristics of
these connections is detailed below :-
I/P Impedance
>10K Ohms
I/P Level
+12dBu / +18dBu Max.
I/P Connectors
Balanced XLR Female
O/P Impedance
<100 Ohms
O/P Level
+12dBu / +18dBu Max.
O/P Connectors
Balanced XLR Male
Compression Ratio
apt-x100 4:1 Fixed
Coding Algorithms
apt-X100 Sub-band ADPCM,
G722 (Stat Mode), G711
S/N Ratio
>102dBm
Format
Mono / Stereo
Bandwidth
3Hz to 22.5KHz
Sampling Rate
48KHz
Digital Audio
The digital audio interface provides both transmit
and receive AES3 connectivity via XLR input and
output connectors. Sample rate conversion is
standard on both input and output digital audio
signal paths. This facility allows the user to connect
AES3 signal sources that are asynchronous to the
codecs network interface.
