Maintenance
Note! Do not disassemble the chuck without service
instructions and special tools. Incorrect disassembly
can damage the chuck.
General care
Lubricate the table chuck to avoid rusting.
Difficulties in operating the chuck are often due to
faulty O-rings. Check the O-rings and change if
necessary. See next page for detailed instructions
for checking and changing the O-rings.
When not in use
Clean and protect with antirust oil.
Daily
Inspect and clean the chuck’s X/Y- och Z-references.
Weekly
Clean and lubricate all ground reference surfaces.
Yearly
Remove chuck from machine table and clean
surfaces. Lubricate according to installation
procedures.
Lubricant
Recommended lubricant: Klüber Barrieta L 55/2 or
equivalent.
Checking springs and O-ring - Dynafix
1. Checking springs and o-rings, should be done
on an annual basis. When one of the springs is
damaged, there is a risk that even the
remaining springs will be damaged, it is
therefore important that the cup springs (G)
are checked and change them if required.
Damaged or parts with wear, change if
required.
2. Disassemble the chuck from the machine
table, clean the underside.
