Note that the chart shows the SynQor part number for the CONFIGURATION cable required for
each configuration.
The chart shown above focuses on how the AC OUTPUTs of multiple UPS units could be connected.
Of course, there are multiple ways in which the INPUTS (both AC and DC) could be connected,
as well. They could be connected to the same source, or they could be connected to separate
sources. The possibilities will be discussed at the end of this section.
Select the “F: Floating” or “R: Redundant” option when ordering UPS units configured in this manner.
Contact the factory for redundant split-phase systems, redundant 3-phase systems, or redundant
single phase systems with more than three units.
Parallel Connection of the AC Outputs
Two or three SynQor UPS units can have their AC OUTPUTs connected in parallel to deliver two
or three time the output power and output current of a single unit. Units can also be connected
to form 1+1 or 2+1 redundant systems.
Two UPS units with AC OUTPUTs Paralleled
For two UPS units having their outputs connected in standard parallel or redundant parallel, the
wiring diagram for the AC OUTPUT cables and the CONFIGURATION cable is shown below:

CONFIGURATION cable SYN-9311 or SYN-9341
When ordering, select the “F: Floating” or “R: Redundant” option for UPS units configured
in this manner. Use CONFIGURATION cable SYN-9311 for standard parallel and SYN-9341 for
redundant parallel.
