Attaching and Removing the MSR 8000
To attach, snap the magnetic stripe reader onto the bottom of the
terminal as shown below.
To remove, pull and remove the terminal from the magnetic stripe
reader.
Note:
Remove the magnetic stripe reader from the bottom of
the terminal, before using a cradle for charging and
communication.
Reading Magnetic Stripes
To use the magnetic stripe reader, the terminal must have an
application installed which accepts magnetic stripe data. A sample
application is available for reference at
http://devzone.symbol.com.
