Configuring the iPOS TX

Testing MSR Function

Tap 

Msr

 on the 

Function Test 

screen to test the functionality of the MSR, which is used for 

retrieving credit and debit card information in a transaction.

Tap the following buttons to run MSR testing:

MsrOn

 activates the MSR. A message prompts you to swipe a card. After you 

swipe the card, the screen displays track values and parsed data such as account 
number and first name.

MsrOff

 deactivates the MSR.

Clear

 erases track information.

Done

 exits the MSR Test screen.

Testing Audio Function

Tap 

Audio

 on the 

Function Test 

screen to test the sound output of the iPOS TX. The 

terminal plays an audio clip if functioning properly.
