Preparations for Installation
Please consult the chapter “Safety Instructions”!
• Install the pendant light only on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are suit-
able for the surface. Use the product only when it is
fi
rmly and steadily mounted.
• The pendant light must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
• The pendant lamp must be protected by a 10/16A fuse on the customer's distribution
board. An earth circuit fault interrupter must be installed before this (FI protective
switch).
• Install the pendant lamp only when it is disconnected from the power supply. It is not
suf

First switch off all poles of the mains supply by removing the fuse or switching off
at the circuit breaker and then also switch off the associated residual current circuit
breaker. Secure it against unauthorised reconnection, e.g. with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current e.g. with an appropriate tester.
