8.2.5 Changing the system PIN code
Some functions of the telephone system are protected against unauthorised use by a PIN code. The PIN code
consists of up to 8 numbers. As supplied, the PIN code is set to "0000". If the old PIN code is not entered
correctly, the process will be aborted.
The new PIN code must be entered twice under ENTER NEW PIN and CONFIRM NEW PIN.
When you assign a new PIN, you must keep this safely, as if you forget this PIN, the as-supplied state can
only be recreated in the factory.
8.3 Restoring factory settings
The mobile unit and the base station are reset to the factory settings using this function. The phone book, the
caller list (CLIP) and all phone numbers in the redial facility will be deleted.
NOTE: All lists and the phone book will be deleted!

Remove a battery from the mobile unit and then replace the battery directly.
ƒ Then press the button once. The display will show the message DEFAULT SETTINGS.
ƒ Confirm with the OK display button and after a few seconds the factory settings will be restored.
