Base settings

Press the softkey under 

Menu

Settings/Base 

and press 

OK

confirm.

You have then the following options: 

 

Ringer

 

 

You can programme different ringer melodies on the base station. 
Set the preferred ringer melody and the associated volume. 
 

Flash time

 

 

Select the flash time for the analogue network functionalities. 
 

Dial Mode

 

 

Select tone or pulse dialling: 

 

Tone 

Normal dialling procedure on analog lines. 

 

Pulse 

May be required for connecting older telephone systems. 
Please refer to the relevant documentation. 

 

System PIN

 

 

Change the system PIN performing the procedure shown in the display. 
 

Note 

 

If you wish to register/deregister new handsets with the 
base station, you must enter the base station's 4-digit 
system PIN (default setting: 000). 

 

We recommend that you change the system PIN to protect 
your telephone against unauthorised access. 

 

Attention

: Please take good note of your new system PIN! 

If you forget it, a technical intervention is necessary. This 
service will be charged.
