ECO mode

If ECO mode is switched on the display will be completely switched off in stand-by. No status
icons are displayed. The life of the battery can be considerably increased in this way.

Starting position: "Settings" menu
– Select "ECO mode" by pressing the lower navigation button
– Press the confirmation button
– Switch Eco on or off by pressing the navigation buttons
– Press the confirmation button

Display

The message display can be set to 16, 20 or 21 characters per line.

Starting position: "Settings" menu
– Use the lower navigation button to select "Display"
– Press the confirmation button
– Use the navigation buttons to select the desired number of characters per line
– Press the confirmation button

After having selected the number of characters per line, choose if the status line is visible or not
during reading the messages. If the status line is visible, you will see if there are unreaded mes-
sages available.
