Reading messages with the confirmation button
You also have the possibility to scroll directly through and read all messages by pressing the
confirmation button.
Simple operation
If your receiver is configured for simple operation, you will get directly into the most recent mes-
sage by using the confirmation button. As soon as you have read it, the next unread message is
displayed. In order to reach the main menu, press both navigation buttons simultaneously for at
least two seconds.
Key lock
If the key lock is activated, all buttons are locked and you cannot change any settings. To unlock
the function, press both navigation buttons simultaneously. In stand-by mode the key lock will
automaticly switch on after ten seconds without any keypress. In an emergency, you can read the
alert message by pressing the confirmation button without deactivating the key lock.
Illuminated display
To switch on display illumination manually, hold the confirmation button for one second.
To switch the display off again, hold the confirmation button for one second. The display will be
switched off automatically when the receiver returns back to stand-by mode.
