7. The unit’s fans can be removed for cleaning or replacing. Clean the
fan blades by gently brushing them. To detach the fans, first remove
the heat exchanger and the fine filter. Then detach the plug connec-
tors of the fans (note the small bolt at the side of the connector) and
unscrew the locking bolts from the internal wall next to the fans. The
heads of the screws holding the exhaust air fan in place can be found
by removing some insulation material. Detach the fixings and tilt the
back of the fan toward the back wall until the fan comes loose from
its rear bracket. Then turn the fan sideways and extract it from the
unit. Be careful not to break the electrical insulation.
To reinstall the fans, insert them and turn them until they are near
their final location. Tilt the lower part of the fan toward the back
wall and slide the exit of the fan toward the rear bracket along the
side wall. Straighten the fan. Insert the locking bolt through the
hatch in the internal wall and use two screws to fix it to the internal
wall. Connect the plug connectors and reinstall the heat exchanger
and fine filter.
NOTE: You should check that the supply air fan cable is not
in contact with the reheater.
