10.4.1 Intersection Management 

At intersections, the sensor is typically used for combined stop bar and advance detection.

The  sensor  is  usually  mounted  at  the  corner  of  an  intersection  on  a  vertical  pole.  Other 
mounting  positions  (gantry,  mast  arm,  luminaire)  may  be  possible.  The 

standard 

configuration

 for Type 32 sensor for intersection applications is shown in Figure 4 and its 

parameters are given in Table 1.
