Slope Error
Slope error is a calibration error. It occurs, if the correction factor
(slope) is > 2.0 or <0.5.
Note:
When mixing new reagents or standard solution:
• never use water contaminated with silica.
• do not use any glass containers to mix reagents or standard
solution.
If the calibration factor is too high do the following:

Check the programmed standard. See chap. 9,

Prepare a new standard solution with demineralized water, use
SWAN stock solution only.

Clean all canisters and suction lances with a mix of demineral

ized water and one percent hydrochloric acid.

Prepare new reagents with SWAN original reagents, see
