RIGHT
ENGINE COOLANT
Hold the motorcycle vertically.
Turn the radiator cap counterclockwise and remove it.
The engine coolant should be kept filled to bottom of
the filler neck.
If level is lower than this level, add engine coolant as
follows.
1. Add the engine coolant to the correct level from
radiator inlet hole.
2. Close the radiator cap securely.

IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
After completing all of the servicing procedures, adjust
the engine idle speed by turning the throttle stop screw
knob.
Engine idle speed: 2 150–2 250 r/min

WARNING
You can be injured by scalding fluid or steam if
you open the radiator cap when the engine is
hot.
Do not open the radiator cap when the engine
is hot. Wait until engine cools.
NOTE:
• Use an “SUZUKI SUPER LONG LIFE COOL-
ANT” (Blue).
• “SUZUKI SUPER LONG LIFE COOLANT” is pre-
mixed to the proper ratio.
NOTE:
The engine idle should be adjusted with engine
warmed up.
