ENGINE 3-49

• Install the crankshaft

and dowel pins

to the upper crank-

case/cylinder.

NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the bearing

balls and conrod big end

CRANKCASE

• Apply SUZUKI BOND “1215” to the lower crankcase matching

surface.



99000-31110: SUZUKI BOND “1215” or equivalent

NOTE:
Use of SUZUKI BOND is as follows:
* Make surfaces free from moisture, oil, dust and other foreign

materials.

* Spread on surfaces thinly to form an even layer, and assemble

the crankcases within few minutes.

• Tighten the crankcase bolts to the specified torque.



Crankcase bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)

• Install the bushing

to the upper crankcase/cylinder.

• Install the bushing

to the generator case.
