1D-11 Engine Mechanical:

CAUTION

Avoid removing the idle air screw (8).

CAUTION

Never remove the throttle valve (9).

CAUTION

Avoid removing the throttle lever stopper
screw (10).

Assembly

Assembly is the throttle body in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the new O-ring (1).

CAUTION

Replace the O-ring with a new one.

• Apply thin coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
• With the throttle valve fully closed, install the TP

sensor (1) and tighten the TP sensor mounting screw.

NOTE

• Align the throttle shaft end “A” with the

groove “B” of TP sensor.

• Apply grease to the throttle shaft end “A” if

necessary.

grease or equivalent)
