• Install the new O-rings 

1

 onto the oil pipes and apply SUZUKI

SUPER GREASE “A” to the O-rings.

• Install the right and left oil pipes.

$

Replace the O-rings 

1

 with new ones to prevent oil leak-

age.

&

99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A”

• Place the cylinder head onto the cylinder block.
• Cylinder head nuts and washers must be installed in the cor-

rect position as shown.

A

 Copper washer with cap nut (8 pcs)

B

 Steel washer with normal nut (4 pcs)

• Tighten the twelve 10-mm nuts in ascending order and to the

specified torque.

"

Cylinder head nut: 38 N.m (3.8 kgf.m, 27.5 lb-ft)

• After firmly tightening the twelve 10-mm nuts, install the cylin-

der head bolt (6 mm)

 and tighten it to the specified torque.

"

Cylinder head bolt: 10 N.m (1.0 kgf.m, 7.0 lb-ft)

• Install the cam chain guide

 as shown.
