Event Notification
Event Notification settings, found under
Settings> Event Notification
, deal
with the event detection, scheduled recording, and notification abilities of
the camera.
Event Server
The event server, which can be configured under
Event Notification> Event
Server
, is the communications center of the camera. This section deals with
the configuration of E-mail and FTP notifications, as well as remote recording.
Email Settings
Email settings are used to configure e-mail notifications.
•
Sender Email Address
– The return e-mail address for notifications.
This should be your notification address.

Recipient email address –
The e-mail address notification emails will
be sent to. Only one email address can be entered.
•
Server address
- The IP or address of the e-mail server.
•
User Name
-
The user name of the notifications e-mail account.
•
Password
- The password of the e-mail account.
•
SMTP Server Port
- the SMTP port of the email server; Default 25.
•
Test
- Click this button to send a test email. E-mails will only be sent
if all parameters are entered correctly.
