Filter Replacement
When to Replace the
Combination Filter:
Note
: This filter is black on one
side and white on the other. It is the
closest to the front panel.
1. When the Filter Replace
indicator lights up.
2. If the filter is badly discolored and
gives off a foul odor.
3. If the filter is packed with residue which
cannot be reasonably
removed.
!
Turn air purifier “off” and unplug before replacing filters.
1. Remove Front Cover.
Pull the embossments (tabs) of the front cover toward you, located at the
bottom-sides of the front cover. The bottom will detach first by pulling outward, and then the top will detach
next by lifting upward.
2. Remove Filter.
With the front cover completely removed, take out the existing filter and properly
dispose.
3. Insert Replacement Filter.
Remove the replacement filter from its plastic bag and insert it into its
proper place.
4. Re-Attach Front Cover.
Insert the embossments (tabs) at the top of the front cover into their slots at
the top of the air purifier frame, and then snap the lower end into place.
5. Filter Reset Button.
This applies only to the Combination Filter, not the Photocatalytic Filter. First,
plug the air purifier into the wall outlet. Before turning the air purifier back on, push the Filter Reset button
on the Control Panel using a needle.
Replacement Steps:
When to Replace the Photocatalytic Filter:
Replace every 3-5 years, when the surface begins to show signs of
corrosion.
Note
: This filter is metallic in appearance. It sits behind the
Combination Filter.
