more than 15m long, install extra ones along the length of the pool.
Foxes:
Use the Night-Mode setting with Sensitivity on maximum. Leave switched ON
as long as required.
Possums:
Use the Night-Mode setting for best results with Sensitivity on maximum
and leave the device active continually. If the possum is walking along a fence, up a
tree, climbing a building structure, etc., then ensure the Sensor is rigidly mounted at
that height. If the possum is at ground level, install it at ground level.
Rabbits:
Leave the device active continually.
Seagulls and Pelicans:
Place the Sureguard ScareCrow as close to the protected
area as practical. Do not point toward moving water, moving boats, etc. Do not fix to
a boat because the movement will cause false activation.
Wallabies and Kangaroos:
Leave the device active continually.

Inspect and clean the filter mesh whenever attaching a hose
•
If temperatures are expected to drop below 0°C move the ScareCrow indoors to prevent
damage from freezing.

DO NOT use with bore water, saltwater, dam water or brackish water. Connect only to
clean drinking water.

The water pressure supplied from taps can vary significantly from location to
location. If your
water pressure is too high,
you MUST use a pressure reducer in-line
between the tap & hose. Sureguard has tested and recommends the
Pope 300kPa
model
, which is available at many hardware stores for around $10. If you choose
another brand, do not go higher than 300kPa. Going lower will reduce the spray
distance.
