Introduction

Overview

The Supermicro SuperServer 6113M-i is a high-end dual processor, 1U rackmount

server that features some of the most advanced technology currently available.

The SuperServer 6113M-i is comprised of two main subsystems: the SC813Hi-

500 1U rackmount chassis and the i2DMR-iG2 dual Itanium2 processor

serverboard. Please refer to our web site for information on operating systems

t h a t h a v e b e e n c e r t i f i e d f o r u s e w i t h t h e S u p e r S e r v e r 6 1 1 3 M - i

(www.supermicro.com).

In addition to the mainboard and chassis, various hardware components may

have been included with your SuperServer 6113M-i, as listed below:

Up to two (2) Intel Itanium2 CPUs of up to 1.50 GHz with 6 MB L3

cache (optional)

Up to 16 GB ECC registered DDR200 SDRAM main memory (optional)

Two (2) 1U Itanium2 CPU heatsinks (SNK-0046)

One (1) heatsink retention socket (SKT-0147-RM-IT2)

Two (2) power pods: Itanium2 voltage regulator modules (VRM-0008)

One (1) slim CD-ROM drive (CDM-TEAC-24(B))

One (1) riser card (CSE-RR1U-X)

Four (4) IDE drive carriers (CSE-PT42(B))

One (1) front access USB and COM port tray (CSE-PT40(B))

Rackmount hardware (with screws):
