Chapter 1

Introduction

1-1 Overview

The SuperServer 5016I-M6F is a short-depth server comprised of two main sub-

systems: the SC813MTS-350C 1U chassis and the X8SI6-F motherboard. Please

refer to our web site for information on operating systems that have been certifi ed

for use with the SuperServer 5016I-M6F (www.supermicro.com).

In addition to the motherboard and chassis, various hardware components have

been included with the SuperServer 5016I-M6F, as listed below:
