5-6 Adding PCI Expansion Cards

The 2028TP-DC0R/DC0TR/DC0FR can accommodate two standard size and one

low-profile expansion cards card per node.

Installing an Expansion Card

1.  After powering down a node, pull it out from the chassis.
2.  Remove the PCI slot shield from the slot you wish to populate.
3.  Fully seat the card into the slot, pushing down with your thumbs evenly on

both sides of the card.

4. Finish by using a screw to secure the top of the card shield to the chassis.

The PCI slot shield protects the serverboard and its components from EMI
and aid in proper ventilation, so make sure it is always in place.

5. Insert the node back into the chassis and power it on.
