6-7 Power Supply
The chassis includes a single 1400 watt power supply. This power supply has an
auto-switching capability, which enables it to automatically sense and operate at a
100V - 240V input voltage.
If the power supply unit fails, the system will shut down and you will need to replace
the unit. Replacement units can be ordered directly from Supermicro.
Replacing the Power Supply
1. Power-down the server and unplug the power cord.
2. Push the release tab on the front of the power supply.
3. Lift the handle of the power supply.
4. Pull the power supply out of the power supply bay.
5. Push the new power supply module into the power bay until it clicks into the
locked position.
6. Plug the AC power cord back into the module and power-up the server.
