Fan Headers

The H8SMU has fi ve fan headers, 

which are designated FAN1 through 

FAN5.  See the table on the right for 

pin defi nitions. 

Note:

 when using active heatsinks 

(those with fans), connect the heatsink 

fan for the CPU to the FAN1 header.   

Serial Ports

The COM1 serial port is located be-

side the VGA port.  COM2 is a header 

located near the floppy connector. 

 

Refer to the table on the right for pin 

defi nitions.  

LAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports (desig-

nated LAN1 and LAN2) are located 

beside the VGA port.  These Ethernet 

ports accept RJ45 type cables.

Note:

 NC indicates no connection.
