M.2 Connectors
M.2 is formerly known as Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF). The two
M.2 connectors are designed for internal mounting devices and provide
M-Key 2242/2260/2280 (M.2 #1) and 2280 (M.2 #2) for native PCI-E
SSD support with the ultimate performance capability in a PCI Express
3.0 interface. Only PCI-E M.2 Connector 1 supports Intel ® Optane™
Technology.
