AC 97/AUX In/CD In
AC'97 provides high quality onboard
audio. The X6DAL-G/X6DAL-TG fea-
tures 6-channel sound for front L&R,
r e a r L & R , c e n t e r a n d s u b w o o f e r
speakers. This feature is activated
with the Advanced software (on the
CD-ROM included with your mother-
board). Sound is then output through
the Line In, Line Out and MIC jacks
(see at right). Activate AC 97 with
the "AC 97 Audio" setting in the Ad-
vanced Chipset Features section of
BIOS. In addition, there are also Aux
In and CD In Connectors on the moth-
erboard.
Line In (surround L/R)
Green: Line Out (Front L/R)
Pink: MIC In (Center/
subwoofer)
Blue:
Speaker/Power LED/
Keylock
On the JF2 header, pins 1/3/5/7
are for the Speaker, and Pins 2/4/
6 are for the Power LED and pins
8/9 are for Keylock. See the table
on the right for speaker pin defini-
tions. Note: The speaker connec-
tor pins are for use with an exter-
nal speaker. If you wish to use
the onboard speaker, you should
close pins 5-7 with a jumper.
