Chapter 2: Installation
Power LED Indicators
Two Power LED indicators are located on the motherboard. When P1-Power LED is on,
the power supply is connected to Node 1. When P2-Power LED is on, the power supply is
connected to Node 2. Press the power button at SW1 to power on or power off Node 1 and
Node 2. Refer to the table below for more information.

UID LED Indicator
An LED Indicator is located at LED7 on the motherboard. Press the UID button again to turn
off the LED Indicator. The UID Indicator provides easy identification of a system unit that
may be in need of service.

: UID can also be triggered via the IPMI on the motherboard. For more informa-
tion on the IPMI, please refer to the IPMI User's Guide posted on our website at http://
www.supermicro.com
