Chapter 3

Motherboard Connections

This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The LEDs

on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component
locations can be found in Chapter 1.
Review the Safety Precautions in Appendix B before installing or removing components.

3.1 Ports

LAN Ports

Two LAN ports (JLAN1 - JLAN2) are located on the I/O back panel. These ports accept RJ45
type cables. Refer to the LED Indicator section for LAN LED information. Refer to the table

below for pin definitions.
