2.4 Chassis Components

Installing the Storage Drive

The CSE-E300 can accommodate two fixed 2.5" storage drives, or one if the add-on card

area is occupied. If two drives are used, one drive should be placed on top of the other where
the add-on card can otherwise be installed. One is installed to a mounting tray inside the
chassis and the other is installed with a bracket.

Note:

Enterprise level hard disk drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and

servers. For information on recommended HDDs, visit the Supermicro website at
