Introduction to the SuperServer 6013P-8

Overview

The Supermicro SuperServer 6013P-8 is a high-end dual processor, 1U

rackmount server that features some of the most advanced technology

currently available. The SuperServer 6013P-8 is comprised of two main

subsystems: the SC812S-400 1U rackmount chassis and the X5DPR-8G2+ dual

Xeon processor serverboard. Please refer to our web site for information

on operating systems that have been certified for use with the SuperServer

6013P-8. (www.supermicro.com)

In addition to the mainboard and chassis, various hardware components

may have been included with your SuperServer 6013P-8, as listed below:

Two (2) 1U CPU heatsinks (SNK-P0003) and two sets of heatsink

retention clips (for 604-and 603-pin processors, two in each set)

One (1) 3.5" slim floppy drive

One (1) slim CD-ROM drive

Two (2) riser cards (CSE-RR1U-X and CSE-RR1U-XLP)

One (1) SCA SAF-TE compliant SCSI backplane
