Fan Headers
The X10DRL-CT has eight fan headers
(Fan1-Fan6, FanA and FanB). These are
all 4-pin fan headers, however pins 1-3
are backward compatible with traditional
3-pin fans. Fan speed is controlled via
IPMI based on the system temperature.
Refer to the table on the right for pin
definitions.
Chassis Intrusion
A Chassis Intrusion header is located at
JL1 on the serverboard. Attach the ap-
propriate cable from the chassis to inform
you of a chassis intrusion when the chas-
sis is opened.

Power LED/Speaker
Pins 1-3 of JD1 are used for power LED
indication, and pins 4-7 are for the speak-
er. See the tables on the right for pin
definitions. Please note that the speaker
connector pins (4-7) are used with an
external speaker. If you wish to use the
onboard speaker, you should close pins
6-7 with a jumper.

The Power Supply (I

C) connector is
located at JPI
2
C1 on the serverboard.
This connector monitors the status of the
power supply, fan and system tempera-
ture. See the table on the right for pin
definitions.

Trusted Platform Module Header
This header is used to connect a Trusted
Platform Module (TPM), available sepa-
rately from a third-party vendor. A TPM is
a security device that allows encryption
and authentication of hard drives, disal-
lowing access if the TPM associated with
it is not installed in the system. See the
table on the right for pin definitions.
