Features

A t t h e h e a r t o f t h e 2 0 2 7 P R - D C 0 R / D C 0 F R / D C 0 T R s e r v e r l i e s t h e

X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT, a dual processor serverboard based on the Intel

C602 PCH chipset and is designed to provide maximum performance. Four of these

serverboards can be mounted in the -R1K28B chassis.

The sections below cover the main features of the X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT serverboard

(see Figure 1-1 for a block diagram of the chipset).

Processors

The X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT supports single or dual Intel Xeon

E5-2600 (V2) series

processors (Socket R LGA 2011). Please refer to the serverboard description pages

on our web site for a complete listing of supported processors (

www.supermicro.

com

). Each processor supports two full-width Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI)

links with a Data Transfer Rate of up to 8 GT/s per QPI.

Memory

The X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT has sixteen (16) DIMM slots supporting up to 1 TB of 240-

pin Registered (RDIMM)/Load Reduced (LRDIMM) ECC or Unbuffered (UDIMM)

ECC/Non-ECC DDR3-1866/1600/1333/1066/800 MHz speed 4-channel memory in

up to 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB sizes at 1.35V or 1.5V voltages.

SAS/SATA

For each serverboard, a BPN-ADP-S3008H-L8IP controller card with an LSI 3008

controller is included to provide eight SAS3 12Gb/s ports, four SATA ports for each

node. RAID 0, 1 and 10 is supported and the SAS/SATA drives are hot-swappable.

Note:

Your operating system must have RAID support to enable the hotswap

capability and RAID function of the SAS/SATA drives.

Note:

In order to support the LSI RAID Controllers, both CPU sockets must be

populated.
