Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch
This setting allows you to
Enable
or Disable the Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch.
Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology
When enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provide by Vanderpool
Technology. Option include
Enabled
and Disabled.
Active Processor Cores
This sets the number of cores to enable in each processor package. Options include
ALL
,
and numbers from 1 to 7.
Hyper-threading
This setting is
Enabled
for Windows XP and Linux (OS optimized for Hyper-threading
technology), and Disabled for other OSes (any OS not optimized for Hyper-threading
techology). When Disabled, only one thread per enabled core is enabled.
BIST
Use this setting to Enable/
Disable
BIST (Built-In Self Test) on reset.
AES
Use this setting to
Enable
/Disable AES support.

CPU-Power Management Control
Boot Performance Mode
Use this setting to select the performance state that the BIOS will set starting from the
reset vector. Options include Max Battery,
Max Non-Turbo Performance
and Turbo
Performance.
Intel SpeedStep™
This setting allows more than two frequency ranges to be supported. Options include
Disabled or
Enabled
.
Intel Speed Shift Technology
Use this setting to Enable/
Disable
Intel Speed Shift Technology support. Enabling will
expose the CPPC v2 interface to allow for hardware controlled P-states.
Turbo Mode
This setting allows you to
Enable
or Disable the processor Turbo Mode for your system.
Note: This requires Intel Speed Step or Speed Shift to be enabled also.
MonitorMWait
This setting
Enables
/Disables Monitor/MWait.
