Chapter 1

Introduction

1-1 Overview

The SSG-927R-E2CJB is a high-end Super Storage Bridge Bay (SBB) JBOD
system comprised of two main subsystems: the SC927ETS chassis and two AOM-
SAS3-937EL-JB SAS expander cards. Equipped with 1200W (Titanium Level)

high-efficiency redundant power supplies and redundant cooling fans, the Super

SBB JBOD product line offers high-available, high-reliability JBOD storage systems
at a competitive price.
In addition to the chassis and expander cards, various hardware components are
included, as listed below:

Eight 4-cm fans (FAN-0157L4)

•

SAS Accessories
One SAS midplane (BPN-SAS3-927-N4)
Twenty-four drive carriers (MCP-220-92701-0N)

Dual Power Supply 1200 W (PWS-1K23A-1R)
