4-8 Setting Up the Color-Changing LED Display
Supermicro recommends using the Supermicro C7Z87-OCE motherboard in the
SC732G chassis in order to take advange of the color-changing LED display, which
changes color as CPU speed increases according to different modes of hardware
acceleration. If you choose to install a different motherboard, see the table at the
end of this chapter to select a single color adapter cable (inside the SC732G ac-
cessory box) for your system LED display.

The exploded view above is for illustrative purposes.
It is not necessary to disassemble the chassis.
Configuring the SC732G LED Display
1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the power supply and remove the
chassis cover as described in section 4-2.
2. Locate the SC732G LED power cable. Attached to the end of this cable is a
label marked "LED M/B"
