Chapter 4 Chassis Setup and Maintenance

Replacing a Redundant Power Supply

Your SC113MFAC2-R606CB and SC113MTQ-R400CB

 

chassis include a redundant 

power supply (two power modules). You can leave the server running and remove 

only one power supply at a time.

Replacing a Redundant Power Supply

1.  Push the release tab (on the back of the power supply) as illustrated.

2.  Pull the power supply out using the handle provided.

3.  Replace the failed power module with another of the same model.

4.  Push the new power supply module into the power bay until it clicks into the 

locked position.
