Multicast Filters

The

Multicast Filters

link opens the

L2 Multicast Filter Configuration

page.

This page allows you to set the filter configuration to control the multicast packets that the switch

needs to process. Following are the fields that needs to be configured:

VLAN ID

– Specifies the VLAN ID.

MAC Address

– Specifies the destination MAC address of the received packet.

Allowed Ports

– Specifies the list of ports on which the received packet (with the above set MAC

address and if received from the configured port) can be forwarded.

Forbidden Ports

– Specifies the list of ports on which the received packet (with the above set

MAC address and if received from the configured port) must NOT be forwarded.
