A+ Server AS -2014TP-HTR User's Manual

Onboard Battery

The onboard backup battery is located at BT1. The onboard battery provides backup power
to the on chip CMOS, which stores the BIOS setup information. It also provides power to the
Real Time Clock (RTC) to keep it running.

Expansion Slots

The H12SST-PS motherboard features several expansion slots. These slots are supported
by riser cards that are included with the system. The table below describes their functions.
