Chapter 1

Introduction

1-1 Overview

The 6048R-E1CR24N is a high-end storage system comprised of two main sub-
systems: the SC846BE1C-R920B 4U/rackmount chassis and the X10DRi-T4+ dual
processor serverboard. Please refer to our website for information on operating

systems that have been certified for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).

In addition to the serverboard and chassis, various hardware components have
been included with the 6048R-E1CR24N, as listed below:
