Serial Ports
The COM1 serial port is located
beside the VGA port. Refer to the
motherboard layout for the location of
the COM2 header. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.

Video Connector
A Video (VGA) connector is located
next to the COM Port on the IO
backplane. This connector is used
to provide video and CRT display.
Refer to the board layout below for
the location.
Infi niBand Connection
Both the X9DRT-HIBQF and
X9DRT-HIBFF serverboards have
an onboard Infi niBand (IB) connector,
which is located on the rear IO panel
on the motherboard. The IB switch is
primarily used for High-performance
computing. See the table on the right
for pin defi nitions.
