SUPERSERVER 6027TR-D71RF/D71QRF/D71FRF USER'S MANUAL

Intel® Virtualization Technology (Available when supported by the CPU)

Select Enabled to support Intel Virtualization Technology, which will allow one

platform to run multiple operating systems and applications in independent

partitions, creating multiple "virtual" systems in one physical computer. The options

are

Enabled

and Disabled.

Note

: If a change is made to this setting, you will need to reboot the

system for the change to take effect. Refer to Intel’s website for detailed

information.

CPU Power Management Confi guration

This section is used to confi gure the following CPU Power Management settings.

Power Technology

Select Energy Effi ciency to support power-saving mode. Select Custom to

customize system power settings. Select Disabled to disable power-saving

settings. The options are Disable,

Energy Effi ciency

, and Custom.

Factory Long Duration Power Limit

This item displays the power limit set by the manufacturer during which long

duration power is maintained.

Long Duration Power Limit

This item displays the power limit set by the manufacturer during which long

duration power is maintained.

Factory Long Duration Maintained

This item displays the period of time set by the manufacturer during which long

duration power is maintained.

Long Duration Maintained

This item displays the period of time during which long duration power is

maintained.

Recommended Short Duration Power

This item displays the short duration power settings recommended by the

manufacturer.

Short Duration Power Limit

This item displays the time period during which short duration power is

maintained.
